Joined as fresher, was exposed to all the phases of project life cycle. Was also involved in call handling. They give us lot of opportunities if we show interest, even worked on performance tuning under an architect(when I was just 1 year experienced).
Cons
Once you get into support projects, it is very difficult to get into full time development projects, there are some internal politics with HR's
