Cons
1. Micromanagement - Even the daily stand-ups run for 1-2 hours. 2. High new-born attrition - Many employees abscond within 1-3 months of joining as they have 3 month notice period since day 1. 3. There are no reward and recognition programs. 4. There are no training programs. 5. Companies business relies heavily on a social networking site. 6. There are no processes. They do not know how to follow Agile. 7. Leadership has extremely poor time management skills. Meetings have no definite agenda. No respect for others time. 8. No technology roadmap or vision. Superficial technology leads and managers. 9. No employee benefit programs. No mediclaim policy for family. No term insurance. 10. Salary not paid on time. Paid between 7-10th day of following month. 11. No sick leaves. Earned leaves allowed are 17 days. Credited on monthly basis and only 3 leaves are carried forward after March. Sandwich leave policy. 12. Filthy and unmaintained office furniture and washrooms. Do not even participate in fire evacuation drills. 13. No team building activities. 14. No Performance Improvement Plan for low performers. No job security. 15. Salary not par with industry standard. 16. HR team members have no authority. Employee feedback are not recorded. Authoritarian approach by owners of the company. 17. No flexibility in working hours. 18. Poor work culture, lack of trust on employees, substandard employee skills and products.
