Good Working Environment - Anonymous employee SOLAR LIBERTY ENERGY SYSTEMS Employee Review

Solar Liberty is an amazing business that I can truly say I want to spend the rest of my career working at. I’ve had other jobs that were no where near as good to their employees as they are here. I’ve been promoted several times along with my pay. It’s a fun and exciting atmosphere and very rewarding work.

You feel good working for a solar company... then again... there are also many other solar companies.

Micromanagement is at the very top. You will be watched closer than a prisoner. The owner of the company will watch your emails live and edge in even if they are not copied. There is no company culture, no camaraderie, no outings, nothing. There is also blatant sexism and racism. If you are not attractive, white, and Christian, you will most likely not get in. Several employees mentioned these concerns to their outsourced HR firm... those employees were all terminated. You will also never grow in this company. There are employees that have worked there for 10 years, and were not even recognized for their service, or ever given the opportunity to be promoted.
