Pros

SOS is a great company i worked there for a year and a half. The company has recently gone through a huge culture change and is still improving. With the new people that have been hired and the people that had left the company, it has improved tremendously since i started there. This change happened in the time frame of a year and a half. The company is also growing and seems like that growth is not going to slow down any time soon with the acquiring of new clients. When you are traveling if you need to get home or have been out for a while and starting to get burned out they will work with you to get you a break and help you out as long as you speak up.

Cons

In my opinion there are only two cons. The first is that SOS only works on gas stations, so not much project diversity. The second is that they are still in the process of hiring enough project managers to keep a steady rotation of project managers in the field. These in my opinion are not really cons but just hurdles that SOS is in the process of over coming. That is the only reason i gave three stars because they are still in the process of improving.

Pros

All travel expenses are paid for and per diem was great

Cons

During my tenure here, it was not a healthy work environment. They told us when we got hired that the job required us to travel and that we were going to be in the Market for 2 weeks on and 1 week off. That never happen! I was at the least i was in market for about 3 weeks and about 1 week out. There were even times were i was in market for a month at a time. Then, when we are in the Market we would have to work 7 days from anywhere between 10 - 12hrs a day. We were all given a KPI checklist that determines our eligibility for a promotion. After 5 months of working there, i had completed each task about twice as much that was needed to be eligible and was never given a promotion. Every assigned project i had was completed on schedule and done with professionalism. It became a huge issue when APMs who were not only hired after me but also never completed there projects. Therefore, i put in my two weeks notice but my boss told me to make 3 days after my last day. He still works there till this day.
