Pros

SPINEN offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing employees to work from the comfort of their own homes. This remote work policy enables employees to achieve a better work-life balance, eliminates commute time and expenses, and increases overall job satisfaction. SPINEN has a team of highly skilled and supportive co-workers. Colleagues are knowledgeable, approachable, and always willing to collaborate and help one another. The positive and friendly atmosphere created by great co-workers contributes to a pleasant and productive work environment.

Cons

There are occasional communication challenges within the organization. Information may not always be effectively disseminated, leading to misunderstandings or delays in projects. Improved communication channels and practices could enhance overall efficiency. SPINENs CEO is highly volatile. There have been instances where he has publicly called out employees in meetings with multiple people, if their work doesn't align with his preferences. This type of behavior can create a tense and uncomfortable work environment, negatively impacting employee morale and job satisfaction.

Pros

I started at SPINEN only a year or two out of school, and was trained up from being a very green technician, to a team lead and later a middle-manager. The main thing I love about SPINEN is the people---We have so many different personalities, and it's not "cliquish: the prerequisite to being a good fit is really looking out for the client and each other, being honest and owning things (good or bad), and having a lot of initiative to learn. We are continuing to train up an awesome team of employees with relatively little real-world experience, and seeing the team continue to grow and thrive is so great. I also love the fact that I've gotten a lot of experience with different tech. We work heavily on just about every area of a network (networking, PCs, servers, phones, etc), and although we try to stick with certain reliable brands, we aren't pigeonholed and have opportunity to touch things that would be off-limits in a really large environment. (Like SAN infrastructure or Group Policy creation.) Most of what I've learned here has been on the job, though there's encouragement towards certifications and incentives around them as well.

Cons

We are extremely busy, and sometimes volume can get a little overwhelming, though I think this is the case of "too much of a good thing" and something we can deal with by adding more people and better use of automation.
