SPOON is a great place to work for someone who excels in a fast-paced environment. To succeed at any company in the trade show & events industry, you need to be detail-oriented, a great communicator, and be able to juggle multiple projects at a time. As someone who works directly with clients on a day-to-day basis, I have developed wonderful relationships with our clients. SPOON's management team recognizes these deep relationships and trust me to fully maintain them myself. Management is extremely flexible with work hours and accommodating when something comes up in our personal lives. As long as my work gets done and I am attentive to clients as if I were in the office, I'm able to work from home as needed. Management also offers summer hours which allows me to take 3-day weekends in the summer. It's a luxury my friends wish they had at their jobs. We have a wonderful team here! Everyone is friendly and we have a great mix of people of all ages and interests. People often bring in bagels, ice cream, etc. for everyone. Like in every workplace, there's times of frustration, but that's usually due to short timelines and busy schedules. Contrary to what some of the negative reviews say about SPOON, I really enjoy working here - and I know many of my co-workers feel the same. I'm trusted by my team and am given all the tools to succeed.
