Pros

SRG is part of a group of recruitment brands, Impellam, which makes it incredibly stable. It has a 60% market share and a great name in the market, which makes it an easy sell even if you're going into a new desk. There is a decent level of flexibility on fees and being able to negotiate. They support a Mental Health charity called MIND and this really, really shows trickling down into the culture. So many recruitment agencies are a churn and burn, but you genuinely feel like the managers care about their people. Not a "clock watch" place at all, I'm at the mercy of public transport to get into work and am quite frequently a wee bit late, and my manager genuinely isn't fussed as she knows I'll get my job done. It's unreal being able to be treated like an adult. A lot of places if they say "flexible working" they mean you can work 7-7 and occasionally do this from home, but here it's about being present for most of a clients core hours, getting your work done, delivering results and working smart. No point sitting at your desk to make a call in the evening to a candidate when you can do it from home, and you're allowed to do it.

Cons

Commission structure is a bit vague, and really benefits high earners. Steady billers might be a bit frustrated.
