Lack of continuous professional development programs for majority of the employees; lack of opportunity for advancement.

I like the fact that we get involved in lots of areas of the company. Although I am an IT Manager, I am involved in helping to develop new products, with Marketing and with getting our mature products in shape. It is nice to have your CEO asking your opinion on what we should be doing. And they are flexible with work/life balance issues. The company also really cares about the people here and tries to solicit our opinions on many topics.

Overall compensation is fair. Sometimes it would be nice to see the overall plan for what we are doing and where we want to go. Much of the time I think we are just fixing problems instead of really moving forward. But we do a very good job of keeping our products in good shape. So, my only real con would be in not always knowing what the big picture is and where we plan on going as a company.
