Pros
The company is doing extremely well and has money to invest in new things. Most of the people who work there are well intentioned and skilled.
Cons
The company is fraught with leadership issues. The CEO is a great guy, but he is at the mercy of the board of directors, including the former CEO – a person who manages with fear and an iron fist. People are afraid to innovate in fear of reprisal and failure, so the company doesn't adapt quick enough to market conditions or client requests. It is a toxic environment where people protect themselves by blaming and backstabbing their colleagues. Even though the company has some forward thinking policies, like unlimited vacation and sick time, people struggle to manage it and if you use more than management thinks you should take, then you are reprimanded or even let go.
