Pros

Pay on time, offsite once a year

Cons

I worked for one of the major portfolio brands. The environment was toxic, with managers who often lacked the skills to actually get things done. While many customers were churning, management kept running presentations about imaginary growth. There were no real career opportunities, and most of the smart people were leaving.

Pros

The company is really great, products and teams are excellent and there is a lot of people with different skills and you can always learn something new. Everyone is helpful and friendly. There is a lot of knowledge sharing between teams and you can learn a lot of new stuff. The company is supporting you in learning, improving, working and at the same there is life-work balance where you don't have to worry that you will burn out and there is plenty of free time to recharge yourself.

Cons

I am not too long here so I really don't have anything to say here. Everything was good so far.

Pros

- The pay is good enough for remote work if negotiated after the initial offer, before accepting/signing any contract - Stock options are offered to all, including contractors - There is usually a choice of IT equipment (Windows/Linux and Mac) - Fun atmosphere on Slack, lots of interesting people to connect with - Plenty of engaging work and learning available

Cons

- The hiring process Vs. On the job is night and day, a real bait and switch situation. All open and available during the interview stages (only 1 question was unanswered, a massive red flag in the end), then invisible after - The people involved were good to begin with then switched their personalities after the start date. Some became short-tempered and wouldn't give clear instructions about the work, what was expected and even hid work, as well as several critical matters about the job that were answered one way during the interviews and then the opposite when working - The worst overall is that this organisation uses bossware/commercial spyware on the company-supplied IT equipment (usually Laptops/MacBooks) to actively monitor (camera and mic, not only activity logs) people from day one before having a chance to settle into the job they've been hired to do and if anything is deemed to be unacceptable it's instant meetings, even sudden phone calls on personal mobiles/cellphones that if missed is also seen as unacceptable

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We're pleased you appreciated our compensation package, stock options, equipment choices, vibrant Slack community, and engaging work opportunities - these are all important aspects of our culture. Regarding your concern about monitoring software, we must clarify that this allegation doesn’t reflect our practices and is simply not accurate. We do not use any "bossware" that monitors cameras or microphones. Our device management system is implemented solely for security purposes, requires your explicit consent during setup, and maintains transparent policies visible in your settings. We strive for consistency between the hiring process and day-to-day work environment, though we recognize experiences can vary. We genuinely believe remote work thrives on trust and respect for diverse working styles, values we continually work to uphold. If you'd like to discuss your experience further, our People team would welcome the conversation at info@saas.group . Thank you again for your feedback as it helps us continue to improve.
