Wonderful people and rewarding work.

Fair wage compared to other similar companies, but not very sustainable in the long run.

Understanding and flexible as a community service job should be.

It would be easier to focus on what this organization does well, which is very few things. They do not value or support their staff, promising promotions and pay raises without following through (get all of your promises in writing). Management is completely uninvolved and out of touch with the people and the programs being run. Completely reactive rather than proactive with just about everything from members to programming. The environment is clicky and feels like an extension of high school. Overall, don’t expect to be valued or developed and be prepared to be overworked, under appreciated and struggle.
