Pros

Growing company despite the bad management and low profits this year worldwide. Safelite is owned by Belron who is a worldwide company and doesn't just depend on sales in the U.S. They do teach technicians how to give good customer service.

Cons

This is fraternity style management. Some of the best store managers are gone or leaving because they don't fit in the clique. There are really bad decisions being made at the top level in this company and it is not for the better. Some of the best sales people were laid off and some of the best technicians are no longer here. Makes no sense at all. The best performers do not get recognized and are leaving. You are expected to work all of the time, including weekends for charity organizations, all for the upper management's ego while they golf.

Pros

Tons of extra overtime pay, opportunity for your pay to change by 5 or 10 percent in either direction twice a year, completely free from corporate communication, bonuses will be held and never paid out so you dont have to worry about saving it yourself! Cheers to the belron "thank you" (more like a belron "screw you") they gave us years ago and I never saw a dime of before I left.

Cons

Surprise! Six day weeks. Maybe 7 we dont know. Whoops all loaned out to other shops, little to no warning or planning You dont matter to anyone in your chain of command They want you to feel like you can talk to them.. but not to actually do it. No follow up from management, everything is out of their hands and yadda yadda yadda
