Pros

Cons

Very unsupportive and snide work environment. Group chats you had to be involved in "as part of your role" calling staff out and incessant messages. Little to no support from supervisors and instant results expected even if route is obviously poor. You're on the chopping block within four weeks if you don't get lucky with your route and make targets. When issues are raised, management ignore concerns. Very very high turnover of staff and little to no job security due to their unrealistic expectations. Expected to work through break consistently, and struggle to even stop for the toilet due to target pressures. More concerned with money than staff welfare.

Pros

Good range of events and opportunities to work at, always interesting events to potentially work at across the midlands! Enjoyed the opportunities it provided- that you wouldn’t usually get in a hospitality job based at one site. Decent pay and always pay petrol when working off site! Majority of waiting staff are friendly and pleasant. Met alot of great people working at different events, easy to get along with! Management staff - some excellent and inspiring members (Janet, Katie and Chrissy) . A special thanks to Chelsie. You’re amazing! Always treats staff correctly and listens to you!! Great management skills :) A pleasure to work alongside. Shifts are given out dependent on the availability you give which is good. If you’re reliable/actively want shifts, you’ll get them. If you don’t want to work future dates very easy to not put yourself forward (based on a 0-hour contract).

Cons

Process of shifts being given out and rotas can be confusing (Facebook group page). Constantly scrolling through to find the day you need & constantly checking for potential shift detail and time changes. However, understand the benefits of them using it and never had major issues with it. A couple of management staff are patronising / lack leadership / do not take responsibility in their position. Younger members of staff sometimes criticsied, but this is due to not given clear direction or support. This isn’t always the case but did find with particular managers (which was known amongst staff). So was okay as it was a mutual awareness.
