Pros

*Sage manages a lot of hotels- pretty good travel discounts

Cons

*Home office is crazy out of touch *Talks about DNA/ Culture, and then nothing is ever implemented at the property level *The on-property HR was a joke. What they chose to focus on vs. what needed to be focused on were completely opposite. When asked questions about SOP's and Sage-related items, they never knew the correct answer which is unacceptable. *Always talk about wanting to help managers grow, but then GM and HR never help with growth opportunities.

We’re glad to know you found value in the breadth of our portfolio and the travel benefits that come with it. We also recognize that your feedback reflects real frustration, and while we do not validate individual claims in a public forum, we take concerns like these seriously. At Sage, our commitment to enriching lives begins with our people, and that includes ensuring leaders are empowered, processes are clear, and culture is more than just words. Pros

Large portfolio of hotels with the potential for transfers and growth. Upper management is intelligent, helpful, and the layers of management help meaningfully support daily operations on the ground.

Cons

Culture varies widely by property and reality of available job growth is determined largely at the property level despite the larger portfolio. Lots of layers of management create a high level of bureaucracy that can make getting anything done a slow and frustrating process.
