Pros

Unlimited leaves Women-friendly policies Open culture P.S (All three exist only on paper — see below for the ground reality.)

Cons

Unlimited leaves are offered but tracked — you’ll be made to feel guilty every time you take one. Women-friendly is just a sugar-coated tagline. There’s zero flexibility or job safety for women employees, and work-life balance simply doesn’t exist. Open culture is a complete myth. Hidden rules are made behind closed doors, decisions are far from democratic, and management manipulates the chaos to stay “safe” while employees bear the brunt. No clarity or structure. Expectations are vague, support is missing, and processes are a mess. Toxic comparison culture. Seniors and juniors are constantly compared, yet critical projects are always senior-driven — juniors are kept in the dark but used for optics. Remote work has failed — not because of employees, but due to poor staff planning and weak management. Presence over performance. Management wants you in the office just to “show your face.” Merit and outcomes take a back seat. Fake open discussions. Calls are held in the name of transparency, but no real questions are ever answered. Salary revisions are arbitrary. Raises feel like a lottery even in this era , only luck matters more than skill or effort. Self-assessment is a joke. It’s a new initiative that’s become a breeding ground for unprofessional behavior and baseless questioning without diligence or ethics. If you value integrity, transparency, and mental peace - run the other way

Pros

There is no better place to become a well rounded technologist. High performance culture without the micromanagement and toxicity (Spoiler alert: There are no engineering manager roles) Everyone gets to have a say in everything (as long as they find the courage and conviction to step up) You are expected to be hands on, so your coding skills never go out of touch. Hasn't laid off apart from a group conversation with multiple options presented for a chapter of Sahaj that just wasn't working out.

Cons

Not much structure, can feel alien at first. You need to figure out your own path Exorbitant salaries aren't possible here.
