Project-Based, hands-on curriculum. Getting to teach students real world subject matter. Showing them how what we are learning in the classroom applies to what they will experience as adults. Being able to see the efforts in the classroom affect my kids in real time.

Hard not to take the emotional component of the work home with me. Currently building the curriculum, very trial and error, but I'm on the ground floor of that and my input is very much taken into account.
