Pros
I've been at SF for 3 years now and have loved my time here for 3 main reasons: i) it's deeply fulfilling to contribute to the business's socially minded mission. Seeing the difference we make to people's lives is both humbling and inspiring. Being a small business, each one of us has a real impact on delivering the mission. ii) the team is exceptionally talented from top to bottom. It's a pleasure to work with people who are at the top of the game - and who I trust to do a much better job than I ever could! iii) the culture of the firm suits me down to the ground. The team is friendly, sociable and passionate about what they do. The environment is supportive - helping people to grow and to pursue their interests.
Cons
Working at a young, fast-growing business isn't for everyone. Things change all the time and there will be times when you feel unsettled and unsure of what's coming next. For me, that's part of what I enjoy but it won't be to everyone's tastes.
