Pros

I can not find a good thing to say unless you are OK with political incorrectness, lots of drinking or a chauvinistic type.

Cons

Dishonest: This company is dishonest with its prospects and clients. I witnessed management discussing a marketing plan that offered money back if the customer did not see a specific improvement. When it was brought up that the product could not meet the target improvement, management said no one could prove or disprove the validity anyway. Discriminatory practices: Be sure to be in the 'good ole boy network' and drink ALOT at functions. If you don't, or are gender female, you aren't going to get far UNLESS you want to have an affair with your manager. (That goes on in the sales group) Bullying: Be prepared for the possibility of a bad review. I got one naming things that were not true. Which was bad, but even worse the review was written by someone I did not work with.

Pros

This is a company that truly embraces change! And perhaps more importantly, acts on it. There’s a strong culture of adaptability and continuous improvement here, which makes the work dynamic, engaging, and impactful. Leadership is open to new ideas and willing to pivot quickly when something better emerges. One of the most exciting aspects of our work right now is the investment in AI and innovation. Employees are given access to modern tools and encouraged to explore how they can enhance their work - whether that’s improving efficiency, sharpening insights, or rethinking how we solve problems and operate altogether. It creates an environment where curiosity is valued and growth feels constant. There’s also a real emphasis on trust and empowerment. People are given autonomy in their roles, and there’s an openness to feedback that you don’t always see in growing organizations.

Cons

The pace of change can be fast, and with that comes an ongoing need to ensure alignment. As priorities evolve, teams may occasionally need to recalibrate to stay on the same page. For those who prefer a more structured or predictable environment, the level of agility may feel challenging at times. But for many, it’s also what makes the work exciting!

Pros

Good people that want to see SambaSafety grow.

Cons

I enjoyed working here at first, but over time the office politics became difficult to ignore. Advancement opportunities are limited here, and it seemed like promotion decisions are more personal than based on professional ability. There was also high tendency to shift blame and create scapegoats instead of address the root cause of problems, which made it hard to feel like SambaSafety was ever a good career choice. Heavy documentation is important at this company, as narratives will shift often and firing does happen often. The company has some good people, but I didn't see it as a place to build a long-term career. Executive team often pointed out that 2-3 years was a lifetime at SambaSafety and to keep resumes updated. That was my first red flag. In the end, the stress and internal politics outweighed the positives.
