Pros

* Remote work * Lawyers/Management and Staff are friendly and work together to get the job done * Prioritizes employee wellness with work/life balance policies * ST law has managed to create a company, even though we work remotely and are dispersed over a number of provinces and offices, where we feel as though we are a part of a close knit community. They do this by ensuring that prompt responses to concerns are addressed, taking the time out to connect to ensure staff wellness, providing a variety of forums to ask questions, brainstorm or just connect with collegues.

Cons

I do not feel as there are any cons for working with this company.

Pros

Great people over all at the firm - very hard to find. Fully Remote - and they offer great flexibiltiy. Very good culture, specifically the people in accounting are such a great people who really work hard and very genuine people. Director of Operations is extremely supportive, helpful and goes out of their way to support the accounting team's needs.

Cons

Remote aspect can be challenging in working with others remotely - but this is a global challenge and not a Samfiru Tumarkin Issue - the firm overall did the best they can to support those not working remotely and In-office.

We take pride in making sure that everyone feels supported and we invest significant time, effort and expense in helping our employees grow and feel connected. Many of our managers, assistants and other staff members have been promoted from within. In fact, we typically focus on promotions for any positions that open up before looking to hire externally. We consider all internal staff fairly and equally, and select a candidate based on needs and fit for that role at that time as determined by HR and the respective department head(s).
