Pros

Nice onsite restaurant, some benefits, work-life balance has improved dramatically because of less work being given by HQ.

Cons

Projects get canned every year and career path goes haywire. SRUK is just like a offshoring center with 1 year projects that need to be negotiated with HQ every year. SRUK should not be called samsung and a separate entity. Contractors form a very high percentage of employees and they enjoy more clout, power, money and influence in the company. There are many contractors for a very long time spanning years. When projects are closed (there is at least one big project) then permies and contractors are treated the same, shown the door or placed in other projects, no difference at all, it feels like being contractor is better. Very demoralizing environment as the business is not doing good. The future of SRUK is getting bleaker everyday but a number of people are living in oblivion.

Pros

I've worked at a number of companies throughout my career, but this Silicon Valley company stands out as one of the best experiences I've had professionally. From day one, the culture here is genuinely different — and in the best way possible. The team is incredibly collaborative. Whether you're working cross-functionally or within your own department, people are always willing to roll up their sleeves and help. There's no ego here — just a shared commitment to doing great work together.

Cons

No cons for now so can't say nothing
