The company provides you only job security and most probably they do not fire you even if you are not working.
Cons
Good work is not rewarded. The hierarchy locates you a small stone in the bridge and you cannot move. Your ideas and your concerns are never listened. You don't have any possibility to be promoted or salary increase unless you have friend at the executive level. Most of the experienced employees leave the company and they do not pay any attention to happiness of the existing employees.
