Pros
Great work-life balance and a truly unique work environment. If you’re in the office, you’re often treated to (organic!) lunch, and there’s a strong sense of care from both colleagues and management. It’s a place where you can make a real impact in the community, and there’s opportunity to share ideas or take the lead on projects you’re passionate about. It’s collaborative, values-driven, and leaves room for creativity.
Cons
Benefits could definitely be stronger—though the small monthly untaxed stipend is nice. Management can be a bit disorganized at times, and because the team is so small, roles often overlap. Clear job descriptions aren’t always in place, so you’ll need to stay flexible and be open to taking on tasks that may fall outside your official title - sometimes above or below your experience level.
