Pros
- Friendly people
- Good exposure to clients from the beginning
- A level of autonomy over how to manage your own work
- Structured teams and shared workload
- Small company so opportunities to get involved in lots of different things
Cons
- Lack of protocol (seem to be winging it)
- Lack of professionalism between employees (inappropriate relationships=favouritism?)
- No HR function so difficult to raise difficulties, especially regarding senior management
- Unclear commission structure (some getting commission, others not getting commission for similar work.)
- After becoming a senior, there isn't much room to progress if you don't want to be a manager.
- No training so again everyone's making it up as they go without feeling confident and informed by policy.
