Pros

Nice staff, fun onboarding process

Cons

There's no real work to be done helping patients, the 12 and half hr shifts are so brutal, it really is just a nice hotel for addicts

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. It sounds like you appreciated the team and onboarding experience, but the role itself didn’t align with your expectations, and the long shifts were challenging. We understand that overnight work in this field can be demanding, and we appreciate the dedication it takes to provide a safe and supportive environment for our clients. While our facilities are designed to be comfortable, our focus is on providing high-quality, evidence-based care for individuals working toward recovery. Our clients are whole people with unique stories, strengths, and challenges, and we are committed to supporting them beyond just their struggles with substance use. For that reason, we use person-first language rather than terms like addicts, as we believe in seeing and treating people with dignity and respect. We appreciate your time with us and your perspective. If there’s specific feedback on how the role could have been more meaningful or better supported, we’d love to learn from your experience. Wishing you the best in your next steps!

Pros

For some roles there is some flexibility and there are a few genuine and good people.

Cons

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this organization as a place of employment. Some of the concerns noted in other reviews were consistent with what I observed during my time there. In my role, expectations often felt misaligned with the actual scope of responsibilities, and there was a recurring pattern of increased workload without an adjustment in compensation. The starting compensation range for many roles also appeared low relative to the level of responsibility required. The individuals working within the organization are highly educated and qualified professionals, and my experience suggests a need for more sustainable compensation structures in relation to workload and expectations. At times, there also appeared to be a limited understanding of the demands placed on clinicians and site leadership, from the perspective of leadership and HR, which impacted clarity around roles and workload distribution. Additionally, the organization would benefit from improved structure, coordination, and more consistent internal processes, as there are inefficiencies related to how the organization operates. Overall, my experience reflects ongoing structural and operational challenges that made the work environment difficult.
