Pros
The technology is out there, but it can address an actual issue in this world to reduce bias against minorities. However, this comes with great responsibility, so as long as the data is unbiased and the questions are highly researched and approved by governing bodies, it can change lives.
Cons
Where to start? The CEO is a sociopath. "They think and act without regard for others including lying, cheating, and manipulating for personal gain. Their narcissism and lack of remorse allow them to believe and most of the time succeed at achieving their desires". This can not be more true for her. I have never worked anywhere and met someone who has destroyed a company so fast, treated people with such disdain and lack of respect, and not only got rid of all the research-based data and science, she decided to change the questions (the questions that actually should reduce bias!) to ones she liked because it sounded better!! It was great working here before the change. While very ambitious, we were slowly making an impact. Everyone has left, either by free will or because the sociopath decided she didn't need anyone in science or operations anymore. I have so much to say, but my advice is - stay away from this company. It will only ruin your resume at this point and the unhealthy environment that she has created is not worth jeopardising your mental health.
