Pros

I have been working at Sappo School for over 12 years and have seen remarkable work being done with students.

Cons

High demands for teachers to live up to. However, this becomes a positive for the students!

Pros

I can not think of any

Cons

If I could give this school negative stars I would. Administration will do or say whatever is necessary to get your money. Don't believe these other reviews. Teachers are told not to discipline children because it will upset the parents. Parents, you are being lied to about what is going on in the classroom & how your student is behaving. Don't believe the "grading for success" program, it is just a game that is played with number to make you think your child is excelling & achieving grades you never thought possible. Administration will lie, deny, and will brain wash you into believing public school are a horrible place. It is run more like a cult than a school. If you are planning on teaching here... DON'T. Teachers are belittled by administration. They are paid little above the poverty level with no benefits. There is no union to protect you, and you are at the mercy of poorly led administration. Yet, you are constantly told that you are selfish and a bad teacher if you are not working solely for the "good of the child." Because of this, there is a huge turnover rate. They like to hire first year teachers because they are presumed to be naive. Get out now!!!
