Pros

Great operational values. Wonderful people. Great benefits and competitive compensation. Good alignment amongst teams.

Cons

I don't see many cons - but leadership can sometimes be disconnected from employees. Interview process doesn't always recognize the right talents.

Pros

Owners are humble and Leadership cares. The people! At times we see each other more than we see our families... Organization has tremendous room for growth. Quirky company with strong values where family is valued. Since my on-boarding, Sashco has offered a generous PTO allowance, more than just government holidays off, and for the last 8 years, a week long closure around the Christmas season so team members may celebrate with their families.

Cons

Every company, small and large has obstacles, room for improvement, and people in the wrong seats. Sashco is no different, however, leadership cares and is willing to have hard conversations and make changes when necessary. At times a little slower than most would like. But to be fair, change is almost always uncomfortable and the "why" communication is not always appropriate to share. When short staffed, team members carry more than the normal work load, making the balance between work and personal life challenging. This is embraced by some and can cause others to abandon post. Like most manufacturing floors, during summer months the production team works in hotter than normal temps. This can make for a unpleasant work environment.

Sashco Response

Dear Business Development Manager, Thank you so much for taking the time to offer such a thoughtful and detailed review. Extremely helpful. Two items I would like to discuss/clarify One, as noted in a previous response, we are very committed to growing from within. We have been investing in our training programs and have a multi-year program, started this year, to develop our future leaders. We remain committed to this path. Two, regarding the “Higher Education Reimbursement Program”, the timing of your comment couldn’t be any better. The Leadership Team has been debating this and is planning on announcing that program in the upcoming fiscal year. Hopefully that announced program will meet and exceed your expectations. Warmest Regards, Tim Maierhofer COO/CFO
