I was working hard and getting things done but after 3 months, they extended my probation from one month to three months and told me that if I didn't improve my performance, I would be removed. I gave everything and was working more than expected. Still, after 15 days, I was asked to resign from the job and if I didn't they would fire me anyways. The HR, Premanand Patro threatened me that if I didn't resign, they would have the power to give a bad review to the next company when they call for background verification. Their reason for laying off people was funding issues and me being the most recent hire in the Android team was the scapegoat. If they asked me directly without any of this, I would have left but they did this in the worst way possible! Also, the android manager was expecting me to code at his level while I was just a 3-month-old developer. He could have been a little more supportive both professionally and personally.
