Certain management are allowed to dictate if you progress in the business or not depending if they like you. If you don’t talk posh then you will not get anywhere as you don’t fit into the box. I’ve seen managers be isolated as well as myself due to my background, they expect you to do the same work as other members in your team making more money. No atmosphere in the office even if you breath to loud your moaned at, a lot of inappropriate relationships within the workplace and not professional at all. Legit like a revolving door for poor managers they take nothing into consideration like trains/public transport/sickness no sympathy at all. The pay is nowhere near it should be for the job that’s why they never display it AP on average around 23k and AR is even lower. They will tell you they have progression but they don’t, the managers have been know to call the staff minions and also ‘dickheads’. They have zero respect for the teams and half the time don’t even acknowledge your existence.
