Pros

Everyone is great, great people to work.

Cons

Extra work, not even being part of your role, don't invest in hiring people to improve the services, don't support the release of products, and always change products to release.

Pros

SavvyCard has a wonderfully empowering culture. Everyone is invited and encouraged to help contribute to making the company successful, even if it's just an idea or a thought. The management team is always approachable. It's a supportive, friendly, family-oriented and fun environment, where everyone cares about and respects each other. The company is flexible. They understand you have a life outside of the office and will do what they can to accommodate last minute personal needs. They also work to use you in your best capacity, moving you into other positions if you're better suited to the work. There's room to grow as a professional.

Cons

As a startup, everyone works their butts off, so we do more than 40 hours a week. But that's by choice. The team is super committed to creating something amazing, and you just don't get there by 9 to 5'ing it. The company also runs lean and mean. Every dollar spent on people and equipment must yield results, so they're savvy about who they hire and what they spend the company's money on. The company recognizes people who take the initiative to invest in themselves and learn things that help the company. People who are looking for "just a paycheck" or "comfy" jobs with walnut desks, window offices, and breezy schedules won't like it here - nor would they last. You really need to be a special breed (and really good at what you do and multitasking!) to work here.
