Pay was decent, hours were flexible, especially for students juggling studies, and work was manageable. Training is provided, including first aid care and fire alarm training

The hours are very few and inconsistent Although much training is advocated, during my time it was mostly left to your own devices and work - must go out of your way to advocate for career development and improvement

Most of the times the work is relaxed and quiet during semester. Lovely students and a good part time or full time gig.

Work is often outside the realm of a receptionist. Which means you wear many hats at once. (Housekeeping, maintenance, counselling).
