      Pros

      The company has grown quite a bit over the last few years and made some changes to scale. Infrastructure is better and leadership has remained transparent. We continue to have great benefits, strong people on the team, and things like our company reboot trip.

      Cons

      Anytime a company grows there are people that can’t evolve and grow with it. We see more complaints because of this. Some are self selecting out now which I think is good for the long term of the firm.

While we do our best to bring clear, comprehensive communications to help ease all the transition, it doesn’t always work out as best it could, though we hope people like yourself see that we do strive to be fair and transparent when it doesn’t. We keep our door open with our People Experience team and Managers so that our people can succeed here first – and if not here, we try to set them up to succeed elsewhere. We’re also glad to hear that you’ve experienced what’s best about Schellman – our people. Having great benefits, perks, and providing amazing experiences to our team matters to us because we wouldn’t be successful without the experts that keep us moving forward.       Pros

      Management frequently improves benefits. Management really knows the business well. The company has historically been well insulated from economic downturns. So many opportunities to stand out and make a name for yourself

      Cons

      Data driven decisions still a work in progress. Long term vision is likely 1 ish year.

      Pros

      The people. Peers are great to work with and very supportive. Some of the leaders in the teams are as well. Perks were GREAT but have slowly been taken away or the costs went up.

      Cons

      Where do I begin? Wholesale executive turnover. Technology projects that we're supposed to say are awesome but aren't really that great. They take up more time to figure out than they're worth and we know those are meant to take our jobs. AI, offshore, temp labor. No thanks. It was a place I loved working at but has slowly just become a job that makes me feel like I should be watching for somewhere else to go. Just in case. The culture has changed quite a bit too. It used to feel like a place where we all wanted to work together but that's slowly fading.
