Pros

Schellman & Company has been a wonderful experience for me. I have been with the company for over 2.5 years and they keep coming up with new ways to give more benefits to employees. From what I have experienced they offer a very competitive salary, if not better than their competitors. Benefits exceed expectation with free healthcare, travel perks, Lasik for those with the company over two-years, 10% 401k matching, an annual trip for you and person of your choice, paid training and certifications, local gatherings, quarterly bonuses, and more. Our clientele base includes some of the largest companies in the world and I love that we can experience what they offer during our assessments. Working from home is another amazing perk. They also offer remote offices for those who like to get out of the house. Overall, we work hard but they reward us well for our contribution to growing the organization. Everyone in the organization is approachable regardless of position and willing to listen if you have suggestions. I highly recommend Schellman & Company!

Cons

I currently do not have any cons about the organization.

Pros

Management frequently improves benefits. Management really knows the business well. The company has historically been well insulated from economic downturns. So many opportunities to stand out and make a name for yourself

Cons

Data driven decisions still a work in progress. Long term vision is likely 1 ish year.

Pros

The people. Peers are great to work with and very supportive. Some of the leaders in the teams are as well. Perks were GREAT but have slowly been taken away or the costs went up.

Cons

Where do I begin? Wholesale executive turnover. Technology projects that we're supposed to say are awesome but aren't really that great. They take up more time to figure out than they're worth and we know those are meant to take our jobs. AI, offshore, temp labor. No thanks. It was a place I loved working at but has slowly just become a job that makes me feel like I should be watching for somewhere else to go. Just in case. The culture has changed quite a bit too. It used to feel like a place where we all wanted to work together but that's slowly fading.
