Period. They truly do strive to maintain a work/life balance, which isn't always easy in this line of work, and they do as well as can be expected. Management is hard-working, knowledgeable, and is always listening to the employees to try to better the work environment.
Cons
Due to the nature of the business, there is ALWAYS going to be too much work for the # of employees, so the workload can be somewhat hectic and stressful at times. However, this is to be expected in this line of work, and I cannot say that the workload at BrightLine is anything more than at other companies that do the same work. It is what it is. For those people who thrive on face-to-face interaction with co-workers, unless you live in Tampa and can go to the HQ office every day, you're going to be working alone for the most part. The corporate culture, albeit friendly, team-oriented and casual, appears to be geared to the younger 20-somethings. Older employees and employees with families are certainly welcomed, (births are celebrated company-wide, for example), but may not find common ground around the water cooler with other younger single employees with no children. However, because the interaction with other employees is minimal, this isn't really an issue for the most part.
