Schneider has a great training program. 2 weeks of paid (10/hr). They fly you out to the closest training center then house and feed you breakfast and lunch. The trainers push for safety and confidence with their training. You are technically on probation and if the instructors think you're unsafe or incapable of driving well, you will be let go.
Cons
They are really particular about their safety to the point of micromanaging. You are able to make your own decisions as far as where to sleep for the night, but break hard once and they'll call you for a safety debrief.

Thanks for the great review! You're right! Schneiders great training make it a fantastic place to drive for. We have many driving jobs available if you're ever interested in coming back!
Health benefits are decent but no time to use them.
Cons
They don’t take care of their trucks and when they break down and you’re at home they take their time trying to figure out what’s wrong so they don’t have to pay you. I’ve now gone a week without pay because they refused to look at a problem that I brought to their attention with the truck for weeks and now that I’m home and took it to a local place I don’t get pay and now my family has to suffer.
