      Private company focused on long-term success; strong data-driven decision making processes; strong focus on the use of technology in all phases of the business

      Cons

      long hours, lack of respect for work/life balance, too many concurrent projects make focusing on things difficult, restrictive technical environment (Internet access to legitimate sites blocked, forced to use IE and MS products)

      Pros

      Dedicated local account, driver leaders are nice, equipment is decent.

      Cons

      $12/hr on duty, not driving pay. That’s ridiculous and includes everything except driving. Work can be inconsistent at times, hours can be long, no holiday or mileage bonus pay for a long time after hire, benefits are expensive. Schneider won’t allow drivers to use Bluetooth or any other hands-free device, INCLUDING HEARING AIDS, to receive calls while driving. This makes having a life outside of work and scheduling appointments almost impossible.
