Pros

People are overall nice to work with, training for drivers is good, location - right off 401, lots of parking, decent benefits, rrsp match, profit share, safety culture - drivers are captains of their ships, there is some longevity of associates, but not the right ones.

Cons

Pay - especially for drivers, more growth opportunities in Canada are needed, turnover is high, US corporate office - Canada is often forgotten, things are stagnant and need to catch up with the times

Pros

Dedicated local account, driver leaders are nice, equipment is decent.

Cons

$12/hr on duty, not driving pay. That’s ridiculous and includes everything except driving. Work can be inconsistent at times, hours can be long, no holiday or mileage bonus pay for a long time after hire, benefits are expensive. Schneider won’t allow drivers to use Bluetooth or any other hands-free device, INCLUDING HEARING AIDS, to receive calls while driving. This makes having a life outside of work and scheduling appointments almost impossible.

Thank you for your feedback and review. We review pay weekly to make sure it's competitive in the marketplace. We have an open door policy and always want to hear concerns like this from our drivers. Drive safe.
