      Schneider provides so many different opportunities to learn and grow as an associate. The many different service offerings that we have as a business provide associates who are looking to learn more the chances to do that. You are in control of your career path, and that is a powerful feeling.

      Cons

      A career in transportation will be challenging at times, so be ready for it!

      Pros

      Dedicated local account, driver leaders are nice, equipment is decent.

      Cons

      $12/hr on duty, not driving pay. That’s ridiculous and includes everything except driving. Work can be inconsistent at times, hours can be long, no holiday or mileage bonus pay for a long time after hire, benefits are expensive. Schneider won’t allow drivers to use Bluetooth or any other hands-free device, INCLUDING HEARING AIDS, to receive calls while driving. This makes having a life outside of work and scheduling appointments almost impossible.
