Pros

Friendly DAY staff Good equipment Reasonable schedule (I am regional driver and am out 11 days and in for 3 off - I am almost on time coming home 90% of the time, even if I am late its its by 1 day and they let you come back 3 days later)

Cons

Slightly low pay but they are increasing it to match industry Support shift is horrible (both 2nd and 3rd), pretty much useless Cost of comfort comes before driver comfort New drivers get the cheap freight Schneider has a poor view from other companies out there. Even if you are experienced and you start backing up near another driver, they may get nervous and harass you. (I would say you should just hit their chrome polished truck anyways if they do that)

They value safety, equipment is fantastic.

The work is non-stop and "no" isn't an option.

Pros

Health benefits are decent but no time to use them.

Cons

They don’t take care of their trucks and when they break down and you’re at home they take their time trying to figure out what’s wrong so they don’t have to pay you. I’ve now gone a week without pay because they refused to look at a problem that I brought to their attention with the truck for weeks and now that I’m home and took it to a local place I don’t get pay and now my family has to suffer.
