      Pros

      Co-workers were good for the most part. Lots of opportunity to be exposed to different parts of the business and learn new things.

      Cons

      Micromanagement in IT was awful for certain teams. Little support or guidance for career advancement. Lots of staff in leadership positions with long career at Schneider led to a lot of groupthink and inability to innovate. Tends to favor internal hires (because they can hired cheaply) rather than hiring external (which cost more or need to be remote because Green Bay is a small labor market) which enhances groupthink problems.

      Pros

      Dedicated local account, driver leaders are nice, equipment is decent.

      Cons

      $12/hr on duty, not driving pay. That’s ridiculous and includes everything except driving. Work can be inconsistent at times, hours can be long, no holiday or mileage bonus pay for a long time after hire, benefits are expensive. Schneider won’t allow drivers to use Bluetooth or any other hands-free device, INCLUDING HEARING AIDS, to receive calls while driving. This makes having a life outside of work and scheduling appointments almost impossible.
