Pros
interesting product with a good product market fit, interesting conversations and dialogue happening, people you work with are interesting, good community outside of upper management
Cons
overpriced product, commission rates built for selling product at full price w/ full book which never happens. sales team wasn't hitting quotas with overpriced products and a year later management actually increased the product price again. selling products at discount price cuts my possible earned commission at half at maximum, meaning that the most commission i can make now is less than half than what was originally explained in my hiring process. doing the work of a bdr/sdr, AE, AM, while expected to build out organization and structure for all processes and lead/train new team members all for less than 100k a year. HYBRID model even though no one team has more than 1 person, so each meeting could be just as successful fully remote than not. Benefits aka PTO not good, no stocks even though "its a startup" no great additional benefits like paid lunches or WFH stipend, no salary promotion after year check marks
