Pros
The management gives trust in its employees to make decision and carry out the actions based on that decision. In my department at least. This makes my work relatively easy with not many red tapes. Politics is not prevalent like in big GLCs. Here we try to keep up with the project deliveries, working under pressure is fun with cooperating and competent team members.
Cons
Cash flow is a real issue, we have delays due to non-deliveries of production material. It is up to the employees to think of a way to make things happen with lack of funds. My team does a lot of kaizen activities, we manage by using scrap materials, and building our own tools instead of buying them.
