Pros

Some of the people on the sales team and various individuals made it fun in the beginning. Outside of that, can’t say this helped me.

Cons

Truthfully a lost company that has no desire in improving their practices. Product is meh, department ideology is underwhelming, and CEO’s consistency is some of the worst I’ve seen. There are plenty of stories I could tell. Just note that some of the behavior is the most inhumane I’ve seen in any business big or small. Employees were forced to sign an agreement to allocate there own earned PTO to the end of the year because the CEO didn’t want to pay unused time. So for example instead of being paid for my 10 day vacation in the summer I only got 5 days on the year because you couldn’t work the last week because the office was closed. Overall the ego filled top end of the business couldn’t swallow enough pride to make ethical changes that other growing Denver businesses were incorporating the moment COVID hit. It’s a company that will constantly pick up you just to drop a bomb on your head. I’d recommend looking at other growing businesses in local area.

Pros

Scope is hands down one of the best teams I’ve worked with — motivated, collaborative, and full of people who genuinely want to get better every day. The work-life balance is solid, leadership is supportive, and the opportunity for growth is real. I wanted to take a minute to provide some feedback so there’s an accurate representation from a current Scope Technologies sales team member. Some of the recent posts simply aren’t accurate. In fact, they don’t even sound like they came from people who were actually part of the sales team — their feedback isn’t relevant. Or maybe they’re just disgruntled former employees. Scope is hands down one of the best teams I’ve worked with — motivated, collaborative, and full of people who genuinely want to get better every day. The work-life balance is solid, leadership is supportive, and the opportunity for growth is real. What really sets Scope apart is the product. It’s an industry leader with incredibly limited direct competition, which makes the sales process much smoother than other startups I’ve been part of. On top of that, the level of support we provide is second to none — it’s a huge advantage as a salesperson to know you can be confident in what you’re selling and trust the team behind it. There are also a number of unique perks that make Scope stand out — from covered parking downtown, to catered team lunches every other Friday, paid Audible accounts, cool team events, and an amazing office environment. The benefits here are consistently evolving. For example, the updated dental, vision, and health insurance rolled out in 2025 are some of the best I’ve had at any company.

Cons

This opportunity isn’t for everyone. We have high expectations and a team full of people who are driven, competitive, and want more out of their career. If you’re someone who wants to coast, this probably isn’t the place for you. But if you're hungry, this is a place where you can thrive. Regarding potential improvements with benefits, I would personally like to see an option for 401K, but this is not unusal for a start-up that is working to mature.

Pros

There are few pros here and there but I'd much rather have a balanced workload and be paid a salary I deserve, which is a lot more than what I'm currently being paid.

Cons

Unrealistic expectations and terrible compensation. Employees are assigned a lot of work, made to meet impossible demands, and given no support, but we're paid a low salary, receive zero benefits, and given no opportunities to grow, we're practically being exploited!
