Pros

Some talented developers and engineers work there Some really great people to work with

Cons

Poor pay compensation compared to other banks for the IT industry Laying off programmers and engineers despite the CEO claiming they can't find enough of them Hiring a large number of contract workers from India Terrible benefits system Pensions are no longer defined, they are now matched contributions only Promotions rarely make sense, and are sometimes completely baffling Despite much internal advertising about work life balance, it simply doesn't exist. I have seen people with children leave because of the poor integration of work life balance available to them. Routine layoffs

Pros

A couple of smart people who are kind and open to mentoring. Hours not bad given no deal flow in US.

Cons

Top heavy management. Culture values heavy politicking. Low bonuses.
