Collegial environment, great work-life balance and strong risk culture, and global reach which contributes to a well run bank that should have great forward progress opportunities.
Cons
Opportunities above are difficult to seek out. Questionable hiring and promotion practices with internal candidates and there is no meritocracy, whereby the collegial or family environment works against you when others get ahead for working less hard. - Compensation well below peers - Technology renowned on the street for being utter rubbish - Short-term thinking in terms of strategy (many times it feels like management is seeking to meet analyst expectations and not making a long-term game plan).
