Pros

The leadership team truly cares about the employees and the mission. The CEO is engaged and interested in what employees have to say. I feel good about the work I do and feel it’s appreciated. Great colleagues and strong culture of caring that includes volunteering in the community!

Cons

The HR practices seem outdated and the benefits are not as good as what I have experienced in the past. HR doesn’t seem to be a great resource for benefits questions which can be frustrating at times. Nice people though.

Too stressful for how much they pay; Revity and 1st MidAmerica pay more for the same job.

Providing competitive pay has always been an important factor in the total rewards package. Recently, we conducted an analysis of our compensation system with the goal of increasing our minimum starting wage. As a result of the review, effective June 1, 2026, Scott Credit Union is establishing an internal minimum wage of $18 per hour.
