Pros

Honestly, they don’t have any pros. I’ve been in banking for many years and the two other financial institutions I worked for were much better.

Cons

Lack of training. No one available to help you after you are out of training. Lack of training causes bad member service because you have to keep members waiting so long to get an answer on how to assist them so members are frequently angry at the bad service they have received. Impossible to get help for your member from other departments with loans, mortgages, etc. extremely high turnover rate. They do not go above and beyond for their members. They need to revise a lot of their policies so they can provide better member service. I would not recommend working here or banking here.

Thank you for your feedback. I am glad to read that you enjoyed your coworkers, the training process, and stability that Scott Credit Union offers. Providing competitive pay has always been an important factor in the total rewards package. Recently, we conducted an analysis of our compensation system with the goal of increasing our minimum starting wage. As a result of the review, effective June 1, 2026, Scott Credit Union is establishing an internal minimum wage of $18 per hour. Competitive and equitable pay remains a foundational element of our workplace culture, and we will continue to evaluate the total rewards package for competitive offerings. Again, thank you for your feedback. Vice President of Human Resources
