Pros

Good fellow employees, when they last. Excellent benefits. Good work/life balance.

Cons

Upper management is more concerned with growth than employees. Expected to volunteer for community work to promote SCU. The company can't keep employees making it difficult for those who stay. Have decreased in customer service with growth. HR Department will not support employees over their "buddies" in management.

I am sorry to read of your experience at Scott Credit Union. Volunteerism and growth are important pieces of our organization; however, we never want employees to feel that they must volunteer. Rather, the program is meant to allow employees the opportunity to get involved with something that they feel passionate about. Additionally, we realize that without our employees we cannot experience successful growth. We are built on our values of accountability, diversity, growth, integrity, and service excellence and as a result, we will take this feedback you’ve shared and use it for consideration in our improvement process. I always encourage our former employees to contact me directly to share their feedback and further discuss, therefore you are welcome to call or email to arrange a time to chat. If you prefer to remain anonymous you may submit a contact submission on our website, scu.org. Thank you for your feedback. Vice President of Human Resources

Thank you for your feedback. I am glad to read that you enjoyed your coworkers, the training process, and stability that Scott Credit Union offers. Providing competitive pay has always been an important factor in the total rewards package. Recently, we conducted an analysis of our compensation system with the goal of increasing our minimum starting wage. As a result of the review, effective June 1, 2026, Scott Credit Union is establishing an internal minimum wage of $18 per hour. Competitive and equitable pay remains a foundational element of our workplace culture, and we will continue to evaluate the total rewards package for competitive offerings. Again, thank you for your feedback. Vice President of Human Resources
