Pros

Credit Union has a strong set of values and a Mission Statement that they adhere to. The President of SCU leads by example. He is a great communicator who has a keen sense of strategy that he uses to provide purpose, growth and motivation to the SCU Board, the SCU Members and the SCU Employees. He is able to lead the growth of the organization while still keeping the employees happy and productive.

Cons

As the credit union grows, cybersecurity threats and staffing are a few challenges that keep the credit union striving to meet its ever growing needs.

Thank you for your feedback. I am glad to read that you enjoyed your coworkers, the training process, and stability that Scott Credit Union offers. Providing competitive pay has always been an important factor in the total rewards package. Recently, we conducted an analysis of our compensation system with the goal of increasing our minimum starting wage. As a result of the review, effective June 1, 2026, Scott Credit Union is establishing an internal minimum wage of $18 per hour. Competitive and equitable pay remains a foundational element of our workplace culture, and we will continue to evaluate the total rewards package for competitive offerings. Again, thank you for your feedback. Vice President of Human Resources
