Pros

Benefits are in line with the industry but nothing special

Cons

The credit union has the potential to excel and be a true top work place. Top level leadership goes thru executives at a higher rate than any other financial institution. Zero ownership of bad decisions at the highest levels. The board ignore repeated letters stating potential issues with upper management, yet the good Ole boys network ignores this. If you consider working here. Look at the tenure of all managers and higher. Add in the normal turnover at a higher rate then nearly everyone in the footprint, that will tell you all you need to know. Fear keeps everyone from speaking their mind. So if you feel the environment of no accountability and management by fear and intimidation is your thing, you should apply.

Thank you for your feedback. I am glad to read that you enjoyed your coworkers, the training process, and stability that Scott Credit Union offers. Providing competitive pay has always been an important factor in the total rewards package. Recently, we conducted an analysis of our compensation system with the goal of increasing our minimum starting wage. As a result of the review, effective June 1, 2026, Scott Credit Union is establishing an internal minimum wage of $18 per hour. Competitive and equitable pay remains a foundational element of our workplace culture, and we will continue to evaluate the total rewards package for competitive offerings. Again, thank you for your feedback. Vice President of Human Resources
